My car is gas pump goes faulty every year or so.Any Saab 9-3 owners having this same problem?

MAKE SURE WHEN YOU CHANGE THE PUMP THE FUEL FILTER IS ALSO BEING REPLACED. A CLOGGED FUEL FILTER CAN PREMATURELY WEAR THE PUMP.

Sounds like u have water in ur gas, if u buy ur gas at the same place most of the time then l would check to see if this was the cause, the pump should last 10 years! To check take ur fuel filter off & tap it in a clean glass jar, do this in the opposite direction of the flow arrow located on the filter, if u see water at the bottom of the glass then that is the problem, if no water then check ur ground wire to the pump & make sure its good otherwise it will over heat the pump & cause a pump failure.
