OK, so l know why it came on - my gas cap was not tightened enough - but do l have to go to a dealer to re-set it?Or can l do it myself, and how?

Thanks,

l own a repair shop, and l think there is a button on the set panel on it that has a re-set button on it,if you mash in on it l think it will re-set it for you if not ,you might try removing the battery cable from it for a minute or so,you,ll loose your radio settings but l think it will re-set it,good luck l hope this help,s.

best way to reset it is to use a scan tool & clear the code. People that tell u to just disconnect the battey do not know that if u do that u will reset everything on ur car. Example. You will have to recode ur radio if u have a theft type radio like most Saab is do, the transmission strategy will be reset & then have to be relearned, the engine Keep alive memory will be reset, & idle strategy will need to be relearned,
your memory seats etc etc, So use a scan tool & reset it
