Yes, Saab is alive and well in the US. l work for GM and have worked on the Saab brand for the last 3 years. GM has been a part owner of Saab since the late 80's. GM is now integrating dealership systems with Saab. There is some platform and component sharing among the brands. You will see that the vehicle quality from Saab has increased tremendously in the last 2 years due to improved systems.
