are Saab 900's any good. (1995 model)

l own a repair shop and l bought an old one ,that had a blown engine in it,and swapped one out,it drove pretty good,i had just bought it to resale any way ,but it ran real good and drove real good ,and the guy l sold it to is still driving it,so id have to say their pretty good cars ,that was the first and only one l have owned,but l had serviced a lot of them before,but it seemed to be a real nice car once l got it straitened out,so good luck with it hope this helps.

As long as u stay with the four cyl. engine u will have a good car. The V-6 is not an option. If u can drive a standard that would be the better choice. Just bear in mind that the year u r looking at has a cable clutch that will most likely need adjustment fairly often to maintain good clutch health. If not have the auto. tranny checked out before the purchase. Also frequent oil changes r a must on the ''body change'' Saab's. 94+ 900 is & all 9-3 & 9-5 models. Otherwise a fine car to own.
