My dad has an old saab 1969 that l am anxious to try and fix up. He parked it near his house prolly in the 80 is and has not touched it since. l have not seen it in a while but l remember it being cute! :) So, do you guys know where l can find pictures and information on it? l looked online, but l have not seen much...

Okay, there were not many SAABs in the States back then - l assume you're in the States - so it could be one of a limited few.

Does it have a long, rounded shape? Does the roof slope down smoothly to the very rear? Boy l hope so.

These older SAABS were never common in the States & r downright rare now, so get online & find some of the online SAAB enthusiast groups who can help u out. They can connect u with parts, experienced advice, & best of all moral support.

My dad had one a 96 for the longest time. l loved that car. It was a headache, it had a funny auto-coasting clutch that kept going wrong & it was a bear to find parts for, but nothing without caterpillar treads could beat it in snow, & it got 40mpg - not bad for an old carbureted Swedish hulk, hey?
