How do you install a new hood ornament on a 2001 Saab 95

Emblems r a problem on Saabs as the adhesive does not seem to hold up well over time. You want to use a finishing line or dental floss to remove the old emblem first. Saw back & forth carefully to remove the old emblem if is still on the hood. Then use ''Goo Gone'' to remove the remaining adhesive from the paint. Do not leave it there, & do not use a sharp object like a screwdriver as u will be sure to gash the paint.

Clean the area with some soap & water using whatever soap u use to wash ur car with. Make sure it is dry, & then apply the new emblem making sure the adhesive is exposed to stick to the paint surface.
