l do not actually know that they ever started, but l have a rental car at the moment and it has one, so l figure the 9-3s probably do.l currently have a 2000 9-3 convertible.I am thinking maybe in a year and a half or so (especially if l do not go to the Wold Cup) l might be ready for an upgrade.Time to start saving for it but l need to know what year to save for!

l believe from 2003-2006 it was available as a dealer-installed option, so if you find one in that year you can always have one put in. The jack is installed in the center console. On 2007 and beyond there is a plug right in the face of the stereo, but l do not think the ones with Nav have it.

l have a 2006 9-3 Aero convertible - it has the factory aux input in the center console -- standard equipment. I've used it and it works like a champ.

Not sure if it was standard in earlier years, but as of 2006 it was. So -- there is a starting point for you.
