Mass air flow sensor and a Mass air flow meter? l have replaced the Mass Air flow Meter (l think) yet my Check Eng. Light is giving me a P1105 code. The item l replaced is on the driver side of the car (close to the battery) The part l now feel l have to replace is on the passenger side and it joins 2 separate hoses. Please help!

Mass airflow sensor and mass airflow meter are the same thing. p1105 does not apply to mass airflow sensor.p0101 is an airflow meter code.p1105 is an oxygen sensor code.the downstream o2 to be exact

Charger You r wrong.
P0101 is a Mass Air Flow Circuit code
P1105 is Charge Air absolute Pressure Circuit Sensor code.
Both fault codes have different remedial steps.
Repairs must be carried out with Tech 2 while taking readings for intake pressure & intake air temperature.
If Changing the Mass Air Flow Meter/Sensor, having checked that there r no vacuum leakages, does not solve the problem then control module will have to be changed. For the Sensor Use P/N 55557008.Price at Genuinesaab.com is 317$ before discount.
Beano, There is no sensor for Air Mass on the left hand side. Please tell us the P/N of the item u changed & then u can be advised what is the item called that has been changed.
