My car has a terrible leak on the right side of it. Ive used so much silicone in the damn thing and nothing is helping it stop leak. l was wondering if there is some kind of automotive expanding foam l can use to permanently stop these leaks. this is driving me insane. Please help me!
98 saab 900s - Its leaking water, from when it rains. into the truck. right side only. we checked the drainage tubes, we have silicone the hell out of it, and now the last thing we are turning to is expanding foam, but not sure if thats a good idea. just dont know where its coming from.

What model Saab are you talking about, and where is the leak, and what is leaking? Is oil leaking out of the engine, coolant? Or is water leaking into the cabin? On certain models the A/C lines can back up and water will collect places, or maybe your sunroof drains are plugged up and leaking into the car. Do not go too nuts with sealants until you know where the leak is coming from. l assure you if you give more information to us you will get much better suggestions.

Your question is vague. l think u stated that it leaks in the trunk.

The source of the leak is obviously not the seal. If the tail light was removed & installed improperly, that can cause a leak. other sources r the Gas filler area can have a hole. Do not put foam or silicon. To fix it first remove the liner inside th trunk, then apply water with pressure to entire rear area. Observe, follow & find the exact area that water is entering the trunk. Then u will see how easy it will be to just patch it or reseal it. Do not use foam, silicon until u see the source.
