l have a vacuum hose off the front of the throttle body that is loose. Can someone with a 1999 9-3 look at there engine bay and tell me where this loose vacuum hose goes????
Looking at the throttle body from the front of the car - there are two small hoses below a larger hose near the bottom of the throttle body. It is the 2nd small hose from the right.

Looked at it several times and think that the nipple on the throttle body may have been capped off and when the cap deteriorated, the last owner may have replaced it with this length of hose with a screw in it and the screw fell out. That is why l need to know if the hose goes somewhere or if it is capped on another 9-3.

really they dont fall far from where they come loose so it should be right there where the end of hose is if you look at hose to see how it lays you should be able to see where it goes

The hose you are describing is for PCV system. There should be a plastic valve in line with this vacuum hose. The line comes off the valve cover and goes through the valve and connects underneath the two big hose on the throttle body. Replace the vac hose with high grade heat resistant (silicon type) and it will be fine for a while.
