where do i look to see why my buzzer does not beeb when my lights are on and my door is open saab 95

Sounds like it could be a fuse, check the fuse panel.

If the key is removed from the cylinder then the buzzer will not work. If you turn the key to the on position the chime will sound for approxiametly 6-8 seconds and then stop. If the door is left open then the chime will continue to sound only if the key has been turned to the lock position with the key still in the cylinder.

Check the fuse number 27, hopefully this is the one in the fuse box which is located at the side of the dash board on the drivers side. However, if this is not the one check all of them, if it is a fuse which has blwn you will be able to see the break in the wire embedded inside the fuse.Hope this helps.
