Why does the saab have an i beside the mileage

l am looking at purchasing a saab and the pictures sent to me have a yellow/orange l beside the mileage.What does this mean?Also, any other information l should ask about a used 2006.Thanks

its for emissions inspection,a shop can reset it.

It means that there is a message on the info panel. The ''I'' stands for information. This will usually illuminate if you have a light out or there is some other issue with the car. You should ask for the service records to make sure that it was well maintained.

l agree with gsd pal.The l means there is a message in the ''SID'' or Saab Information Display.Most likely a bulb out. l have done at least a hundred bulbs in these cars.
