you will have a 3500lb towing capacity. so depending on how much the trailer weighs.

The 9-5 SE has plenty of power to tow ur caravan, manual or automatic, it will tow just fine.
l recommend trailer brakes if the caravan is over half the weight of the 9-5.
l have a customer that has a 2002 9-5 Aero wagon & tows a 24 foot boat & has no problems towing or pulling the boat out of the water.
If u get a 9-5 with an automatic transmission, make sure u get the transmission service done every 20k miles, & the 9-5 takes a full synthetic ATF.
