The battery in my 1996 Saab 900 went dead- replaced it, and it asked for the radio code. Well- needless to say, it was entered wrong- and did not give me another chance- so l disconnected to battery for 2 hours, reconnected it and now when l turn on the stereo it comes up with this symbol; - - - - when l punch in the correct pin numberthe numbers do not appear... l enter the pin and then it does not say anything or turn on, it just reverts to this display; - - - -
l do not wanna go to a dealership.
HELP! PLEASE! PLEASE HELP!

sounds like it is in disable mode. you will have to go to dealer to get reset.sorry

you can try holding the mode button down for approx 30 secs and see if it will reset the code interface.
