l wonder if somebody has seen the same problem. Normally the car starts fine but sometimes the engine does not fire up (turns over fine on the starter motor) either hot or cold. After trying for a few minutes it will start up and will run fine.It has only done 43K miles and is less than 3 years old. Sparkplugs and filters have been replaced but this did not make a difference.

l have a 2005 9-5 Aero and have never experienced such a thing. This is my 4 SAAB, all Aeros. In my experience this can happen due to any one of the following reasons.
Check for DTC codes, if any
Faulty D. l Cassette.
Weak Battery
Possible loose vacuum hose specially the one connected to the throttle body.
Requires SPS programming.
Jingle all connections as it could be loose connection.
Best solution to have it checked by a SAAB tech.
