l do not know about SAAB specifically but generally, auto makers do not put the key code on any of the locks ( this was done by some companies a long time ago ) or list it anywhere else in the car for that matter for security purposes. If they did, it would be easy for a thief to break into the car to retrieve the code. Once this was done, they would go to a dealer and have a duplicate made so they could go back to your car and drive it away.

SAAB can pull the key cut code from the VIN, it should however have been included with the original paperwork.

Unfortunately you're also going to have to mate the key with immobilizer, and to do that you also need a key. If you already have a key, then you do not need the code..

If u r the original owner then the key code should have been provided to u at that time u bought the car alongwith other documents. However, if not send the VIN of ur car to the Parts Department of an authorised car dealer with ur order for the key & the transmitter. They will then obtain the key code for the car from SAAB & order the key. Once u have the key it will still be useless to u as u will be able to open the doors but will not be able to start the car as the key will not be identified by the anti theft system. For this u will have to go to an authorised dealer is service center & they will program the key to ur car, However, if 3 keys have already been programmed then u will not be able to program a 4th key. To program a 4th key the TWICE unit will have to be changed & that is a about 1000 USD in addition to the price of ur key & transmitter plus labour. Let us hope that only 2 keys have been programmed previously & u can have the new key programmed. All the best. You cannot do this all on ur own & u have to go to an authorised SAAB dealer not any SAAB techie.
