Where is the engine oil drain plug on a 1992 Saab Turbo

at the bottem off the sump its a little bolt

Under the car you will find the sump, this is where the oil is held when the car is not running. You will find a small bolt at the bottom, open it to drain the oil. When putting the bolt back do not forget to change the gasket.

Your car is one of the few that u can reach it without ramps. Never use jacks because people have been killed when the jack collapsed. Jackstands r ok but still not as safe as not raising the car.

It is under the car, towards the left side (left when sitting in the driver is seat looking ahead). Lie down & place ur head next to the front tires, a bit more forward. The drain plug is facing the back of the car. It is silver. It is at the edge of the sump, which is a silver solid piece of metal about the size of a shoebox. Remember to get a new gasket for the plug. You can reuse the gasket if u do not overtighten the drain plug

Remember to open the hood before u start working. Once in a while, the hood gets stuck & does not open. If u drain the oil & this happens to you, u r screwed. Open the hood (bonnet) before starting anything. In fact, loosen the oil filler cap to allow air to go in so the oil drains a bit faster.
