l have a 96 saab 900 turbo and the motor for the top is broke.. is there any way to manuely drop the top and soak up sum sun till l can get the cash to fix it?

l assume you have an owner is manual. In it is given instructions for manual open and close the top.

In case u lost the instructions, they r pretty simple to open. If u want to release the convertible tonneau motor open the trunk, remove the carpet on the right side in front of the right rear taillight & release the small gold handle on the left side of the Tonneau motor. When u do this u will be able to move the tonneau cover manually. Just remember to unlock the roof from the lining in the front & u should be set to go. This should keep u with open air driving while u save cash to repair that motor.
