Do Saab's have high maintenance costs

no their not that bad,i have friend that has one and it does not cost him no more than a regular car to keep it up,but he takes extremely good care of it,and has never had any major problems from it yet,id say if he does though the repair bill will be a lot higher,most shops do not like to work on those,but over all their good cars to own,its just that when you have major repairs done it will cost a little more.but on regular maintenance its about the same,good luck.

Yes, but do not let that let you stray away from buying one. My family has owned Saabs for as long as l remember. They all will run over 200,000 miles with good maintanance. Expect higher repair costs (new exhaust for our 1995 Saab 900 SE convertible was nearly $900). If you maintain them well you will only need a couple major repairs as the milage gets higher. Great cars overall.

only for repairs l had to get my timing chain a couple of months ago and it set be back $700 and that was a big job and had some other work done at the same time like new seals and gaskets. but beside that it is just changing the oil the same as any other car . when they are going they're great tough and safe and when they break it sucks but they take a lot before that happens .

Yes. Especially after 150k miles. But they're totally worth it.

not really if you are a do it your self the older saabs are cheap
