It says code in now and l assume that l will need to put it on a computer. Il recharged it overnight and it just will not turn over. It has not been driven for quite some time and l just wanna sell it. Could it be a sensor? If it ran out of gas, is there a specific way to restart it?

If it stopped and now will not crank l would suspect the alternator. The alternator failed, the car ran till the battery ran down and stopped. Now with a dead battery will not crank. Often when this happens, just replacing the alternator does not fix the problem, you may have to replace the battery as well, older batteries tend to fail if completely discharged.

Check the code and post the number here for advice. Battery is week and the alternator may not be charging it enough or it is so week that it wo not recharge. Many reasons. Do you have gas in it? There is a Gas level indicator, what does it show?
