l would like to compare it to tomtom!!

My mother got a TomTom for business trips when she did not bring her car. Huge mistake. She regrets not getting a Garmin. l have a 9-5 with navigation (same as the 9-3) & it is phenomenal. There is really no comparing the two because mine is excellent & her TomTom is crap.

Everything from POIs (points of interest) to recalculation times to accuracy to ease of use r inferior on the TomTom.

The navigation on the Saab gives precise details of what to expect ahead of u (like exits or turns) right on the screen & it recalculates faster than ANY portable could.
