everywhere l ask this ques. th answer is motor oil, l did not have a owners manualbut after hearing 10w-30 l got an older manual(89) & it said 10w-30 also,,,

Maybe l am missing the point but should not you be using transmission fluid?
It takes 2.65 quarts.

1 qt for each cylinder, and half a quart for the filter. so if you have a 4 cylinder car you put in 4.5 qts

Poor questioning.
l think you want to know the manual transmission fluid capacity for 92 Saab 9000.
If so put 5.3 US pints of 10w30 OR 10w40. Use Castrol or Mobil 1.
